ABOUT US

The Hindu-Jewish Coalition (HJC) was founded in 2013 by leaders of Central New Jersey’s Hindu and Jewish communities with the goal of building meaningful relationships in the areas of business, religion, and advocacy through ongoing communication, meetings and programs.

Examples of recent activities have included programs on business opportunities in India and Israel, presentations on Hindu temple and synagogue architecture, a preview of a film on Jewish life in India, joint programs and meetings with elected officials.

The HJC was created with support from AJC and serves as an outstanding example of AJC’s commitment to building relationships with other communities based on mutual respect, understanding and shared interests.
